last friday is my first BME social that i went to since september and that is PUB CRAWL!!!! To be honest, that was awesome despite i dont really drink and dont like to be drunk. First few hours were not that good cos havent got the mood to dance but it end up perfect :) Heels are killer for every girls. I admit that heels make you look taller and also more confident but wear it for 5 hours werent good at all. anyway, i suppose all the girls still do so for the sake of prettiness. I have to say that was a good end of second semester, luckily i didnt change my mind in the very last minutes.
This 3 weeks are Easter holiday for me and have scheduled to work almost everday for the first 2 weeks and will go to London and Brighton in the last week to meet cindy, jason and also arielle. I dont need to work today and is the only free day of the week so i decided to finish my Lab report for MAT1520 as it's due on Thursday. If i dont do it today i wont have enough time to finish prior to the due date. Right, i suppose i should get started now......

semester one in sheffield uni
I havent updated my blog for alomost 8 months. Suddenly, have a feeling of writting blog again. Lets start from my first semester in University of sheffield. I always want to study medicine but because of some reason i didnt make it and end up doing biomedical engineering. To be honest, this course is actually very challenging. I'm really bad at physics but i have no idea why i chosen engineering degree. Anyway, the first semester is very hectic. I have 7 modules in that semester and that was killing me. Assignment almost every week and also need to design a model of car which i dont have any interest on!! Biomedical Engineering first year = Designing, drawing, biology, physics, electrical, human anatomy, human tissue, maths, biomaterial (including materials used by dentist) and computing. What a broad course!!!! The best module is human anatomy & physiology, that was really interesting, love it :)
University of Sheffield---- Has the best union within the universities in UK?? Lots of different societies to join?? Greenest city in UK?? One of the safety city in UK?? more and more. To me, Sheffield is not that bad, it is really green i have to admit and full of students. It was damn quiest during holidays as most of the student will go back to their hometown.
Sheffield uni has the best student union but i havent got the chance to participate in the activities in the first semester due to my timetable. fortunately, second semester is better than the first and I only have 5 modules and timetable is awesome--12 hours a week in average. therefore, I went to lots of give it a go activities. Till now, I've been to the Ballroom and latin class, bollywood dancing, knitting session and will go to the ice skatting session next week. I had a very good time in those session.
Last week, i went to play badminton with mekhala. apparently, there's a competition within their society so i join them. That day was great even i didnt win but have the honour to play with a very good badminton player. She has been trained for 5 years but hasnt played for ages. Enjoying my time playing badminton and sweat a lot too, that was great cos i hardly sweat in UK as you know the weather is always freezing cold. I know that's weird but I always feel healthy when I sweat. The main thing that every player have to do before playing is warm up but silly me forgot to do it. So, the next day when i woke up i can hardly walk. Damn it, i will never forget to warm up before doing sports. That hurts a lot!!!! and the worst thing is it took 3 days to fully recover, My goodness!!! tomorrow, there is a free sports between 7 to 10pm and we will get a free easter egg too, what a nice offer :P

IT'S SUMMER TIME!!
It's summer time now, feeling fantastic although i still need to work. I'll start to work from tomorrow in Bowes Medical Centre, hopefully everything would be great for me as i have not worked there for a month time because of my exam!
The Tuesday trip has been canceled for some reason, unfortunately!! I'm not going to Alton Tower anymore but I'll move to our new flat with Cindy. Feeling a bit upset about that but I might still go to the Europe trip with Cindy And Jason. Woohoo!!! Hope that will not canceled. Now, I'm busy packing our stuff. There are damn lots of stuff and the heaviest things are BOOKS & CLOTHES. Cindy has so many books, oh my god!!! She just like to buy books that she loves and keeps all her notes from ages ago. Also, She has not even finished reading them!!! Anyway, sometimes I was like that too and there's nothing to worry about.
Yesterday, Me and Cindy went to Wembly stadium for a housing option exhibition. We are looking for a flat or house to buy in here but If we want to buy a house, we have to be lived here for at least 5 years. So, we'll see after everything is settled. By the way, the exhibition was packed of people but it was a really fantastic experience for me. I aslo spent her a meal in Tokyo, a japanese shop. We both had Salmon lunch box with a miso soup. That was really delicious, yummy yummy!!!

unbelievable day!
I have my last exam today and it went on so so good, I'm really glad about that.
In the morning, I've got a big surprise from my sweetest friend>> Selin. I'm so shock when I saw it, guess what!!?? She bought me a birthday card and a special present and this is for my 18th birthday even that's a bit too early.
After the exam, we went to college to sort out some stuff. I need to get my University stuff done and selin have some important stuff to do as well!!! Yesterday, some weird thing happened in our exam hall. The invigilator found a pink folder in the female toilet and that's belong to one of my friend. So, the students that went to the toilet during exam time are all in trouble!! Can you believe it?? It is so unfair to those people who doesn't even know anything about it, this include selin. They might get a total mark of 90% instead of 100%, that's seem a little but to us 10% can affect our overall grade!! Oh!! come on, lets be sensible. That's really unfair to others.
This incident will be told to the exam board and I personally hope that this will not influence the mark on their exam, finger cross!!! Besides, selin is a honest girl and she works so hard for the exams, how can she cheat in the exam. lets talk about some happy things.
After sorted everythings out, me, selin and sinem went to Nando's to have our lunch together!! That was a wonderful day, I will miss you a lot sweetheart!!!! muacks..
Next week, I might also go to a trip in Alton Towers if everything goes well. Sinem will plan for the trip. We might go there by train or my friend will drive us there. That's fantastic!!! Looking forward for that and hope this trip will not cancel.

By the way, I work part time in the medical centre as a receptionist and also part time in Mcdonald. Oh my god!!!! I normally work 2 days in the medical centre and i thought they won't need me to work there anymore as now is the recession and there were already 2 permanent employees but what I heard is "peggy, the doctor wants you to work more than 2 days for her and now is summer holidays" . I was super duper happy, that's really unbelievable!!!! I really thought i was dreaming at that time but that is so real and there is no excuse for me. In my heart, i'm comparing the pay rate between McD and medical centre. McD--£4.85 per hour, Medical centre-- £5.10 per hour and also medical centre is far so much relaxing compare to McD. So, I will pop into the medical centre at first tomorrow morning to have a word with the doctor.=D Oh well, I'm going to work for 2 months and earn some money so that I can go travel around Europe with Cindy (my eldest sister) and Jason (my eldest brother).
